This past weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Kukolu Holiday Mākeke at SALT Our Kaka‘ako (12/13/24), and my heart is so full. I can’t express enough how deeply grateful I am for the turnout and the unwavering support from everyone who stopped by my booth.

Being surrounded by fellow local and Indigenous business owners was such a powerful and inspiring experience. It’s truly humbling to stand alongside such talented creatives who pour so much love and intention into their work. This community is something I cherish deeply, and I’m so proud to be a part of it.

Markets like these remind me of the true beauty of what I do—connecting with others. Sharing my art and creations face-to-face, hearing your stories, and feeling the energy of these in-person interactions means everything to me. Whether you took one of my creations home, shared kind words, or simply stopped to admire the work, your support leaves a lasting impact.

As my brand continues to grow and evolve, I find so much beauty in the changes and shifts that come with this journey. Each market, each interaction, and each creation brings new lessons and new possibilities. I can’t help but feel so excited for what the new year will bring.

To everyone who showed up, supported local artists, and embraced the spirit of the Kukolu Holiday Mākeke, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support allows me to keep pursuing this path, sharing stories through art, and growing alongside this beautiful community.

Here’s to a new year filled with connection, creativity, and endless opportunities to share more of what makes our islands, our oceans, and our people so special.
